To the west of Hayle lies 3 miles of golden sands and, with a constant breeze off the Atlantic, the area is well-known for its surfing and wind sailing and is a perfect spot for water sports for all abilities. Hayle’s wide estuary, managed by the RSPB and the UK’s most south westerly, is an important stopping off point for migratory birds and the area in general offers some fantastic countryside walks. The area is superb for fishing – speak to David to ensure you obtain your discount on the local fishing which is less than a mile away from Trewoone.
We are close to many of Cornwall’s famous attractions including Paradise Park, Tate St Ives and the landmark attractions Land’s End and St Michael’s Mount. In addition the charismatic fishing village at Mousehole and historic town of Penzance are well worth a visit. If you enjoy the theatre the famous open-air Minack Theatre is a 25 minute drive.
